OFCCP Releases New Round of Scheduling Letters
Date: October 2, 2007
Source: dol.gov

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has released the first round of scheduling letters for FY 2008 based on the first scheduling list of the year. Approximately 2500 facilities are included on the scheduling list. This includes facilities that have self-identified as Federal contractors or that have been identified as such by the OFCCP. A number of these establishments have been identified by the OFCCP as Federal contractors through the use of their Contracts First Initiative which includes reviewing external Federal contract databases.

Contractors with more than one establishment on the scheduling list can expect to receive a Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letter (CSAL) addressed to the Chief Executive Officer (or designated point of contact). The CSAL will show each of the company's locations that are on the scheduling list. These locations are more likely to be audited than locations not listed, but the OFCCP reserves the right to audit facilities not listed on the CSAL.
