| OFCCP Produces Record Financial Remedies in 2007 |

In Fiscal Year 2007, OFCCP enforcement efforts resulted in a record $51,680,950 in back pay and annualized salary and benefits for a record 22,251 American workers who had been subjected to unlawful employment discrimination. Of that record enforcement result, 98% was collected in cases of systemic discrimination – those involving a significant number of workers or applicants subjected to discrimination because of an unlawful employment practice or policy. | EEOC Releases Fact Sheet on Employment Tests and Selection Procedures |
| On December 3, 2007 the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released a fact sheet regarding employment tests and selection procedures. The document discusses the interaction between federal anti-discrimination laws and employment tests and other selection procedures for screening applicants and promoting employees. | USCIS Releases New Form I-9 |
| Beginning December 26, 2007, all employers must use the revised version of Form I-9. The new version was released on November 7 by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). All employers must complete a Form I-9 for every person they hire within the United States. The new form must be used for all new hires and any re-verifications beginning on the December effective date.

| OFCCP Releases New Round of Scheduling Letters |
| The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has released the first round of scheduling letters for FY 2008 based on the first scheduling list of the year. Approximately 2500 facilities are included on the scheduling list. This includes facilities that have self-identified as Federal contractors or that have been identified as such by the OFCCP.
