Continuity of Operations Services

HudsonMann is prepared to assist you in these and other continuity and security functions:

Continuity of Operations Planning – Don’t let a disaster shut down your business! Continuity of Operations Planning facilitates the continuation of organizational services in the event of natural or man-made disasters. Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) specify security measures, designate responsibilities and identify the required actions to protect businesses and employees. This reduces the consequences of the incident and ensures business recovery.

HudsonMann takes an “all-hazards” approach in developing your COOP. Plans include an initial risk assessment of the organization taking into consideration people, property, processes and products. Elements of your COOP may already exist within your organization’s policies and procedures. Those elements are identified and included where appropriate in the continuity and recovery plans.

HudsonMann’s Continuity of Operations Plan Outsourcing services include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Risk Assessment

· Identify critical operations

· Production cycle analysis

· Review of existing plans and policies

· Develop necessary plans or policies

· Business Continuity Plan (pro-active focus to avoid or mitigate impact of risk)

· Emergency Recovery Plan (re-active focus to restore organization after a disaster occurs)

· Drills or Exercises to evaluate plans

· Employee training

Site Security Survey – We conduct a security survey using the “outside-in” (intruder’s perspective) approach. The survey is first conducted with no prior information of the location which allows for the charting of the vulnerable areas. We then examine the organization’s security with the “inside-out” approach by interviewing security-related personnel.

HudsonMann provides the client with an objective assessment of vulnerabilities and security threats. A list of cost effective solutions is included to meet the challenges identified in the security survey.

Cost effective solutions may include but not be limited to the following:

* Procedural changes and adjustments
* New applicable technology and equipment
* Intelligence gathering systems
* Personnel training at all levels
* Employment screening procedures and software
* Periodic drills and assessments
* Physical barriers
* Crime Prevention through Environmental Design
